Normally there is an informal competition between 3 friends to see who can spot the earliest Halloween decoration for sale. The winner used to win for spotting something in late August, then it became mid August, then late July / early August. But this year, Halloween design tea towels etc were spotted in TK Maxx's Folkestone store in late June!
And in Harrogate's TK Maxx last week I spotted some halloween design plates, coasters and napkin rings. Far too soon!!!
