Had a comparatively and deliberately quieter party this year having only had eye surgery a couple of weeks before. So only had 8 guests all suitably dressed up, and some with carved pumpkins for the annual competition. Needless to say plenty of home-made Cajun pumpkin soup and chocolate pumpkin brownies were consumed.
